Inside the Loom
I was also part of the execution of the pavilion’s Introduction Space, an immersive field of 1,000 suspended threads referencing the traditional Philippine loom. I worked closely with the subcontractor to translate the concept into a buildable, stable system. Aligning density, spacing, and colour so the installation could hold its rhythm in real space. The result is a soft, architectural threshold: a place where visitors move through strands of light and fibre, as if stepping into the first lines of a woven story.
