World Expo Photo Booths

My work included the full design and build development of the interactive photo booths, shaping them from initial spatial concept through to final material resolution. I led the 3D modelling and spatial detailing, while also defining the chromatic direction, tactile qualities, and surface finishes to ensure the booths sat seamlessly within the pavilion’s narrative environment. This process was deeply collaborative: I worked closely with UX and touch-screen designers to choreograph the visitor journey at the interface level, and with interaction designers to align physical gestures, digital behaviours, and spatial cues into a coherent experience. Together, we developed a system where the architecture of the booth, its digital touchpoints, and the cultural content it hosted all reinforced one another, resulting in an experience that felt intuitive, grounded, and distinctly place-specific.
